These are the activities required at this stage: Existing writer does further work on screenplay or new writer hired, Director retained, Option reversal (depending on timing). An arrow then points to the question ‘Is screenplay working?’ with ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ answer choices. If ‘No’, the options are either to drop the project, or return to the beginning of this stage and give it another go. If ‘Yes’, the project can continue to the next stage.
