This figure consists of a line graph showing the effect of phage lysins on bacterial cell density. The horizontal axis is labelled time(s) and is marked from 0 to 300 in 100 second intervals. The vertical axis is labelled Normalised OD and is marked from 0 to 1.2 in intervals of 0.2. There are two lines on the graph. The orange line is a bacterial sample treated with phage lysin. It crosses the vertical axis at 1.0 and slopes downwards towards the horizontal axis. The angle of the slope decreases at around 150 seconds and the line ends below 0.2 at almost 300 seconds. The blue line is a bacterial sample that has not been treated with lysin. It crosses the vertical axis at 1.0 and remains relatively constant throughout the experiment.
