A table showing how to calculate the theoretical probabilities of each total score when two dice are thrown. The first column is labelled “total score” with the values 2 to 12. The second column gives the total number of outcomes for that event, list as (in order): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. The third and final column shows the probabilities given in fractions out of 36. 1/36, 2/36, 3/36 and so on. These have been cancelled down to show the fractions in their simplest form, for example: 3/36 = 1/12.
