Figure 2(a) The magnetic field that is created by a bar magnet placed on iron filings. The opposite charges at each pole creates a magnetic field around the bar magnet. The field is strongest at the poles since there is a higher concentration of field lines at these points; Figure 2(b):The turbulence created by fluid flow around a cylinder. The cylinder obstructs the flow and turbulent regions are created around it.
