Long description
The figure shows a very complex network with many interconnected actors. The figure shows the interactions among the actors with directional arrows. Different colours are used to denote different types of interactions and exchanges among these actors. IDELE is the central actor of this network and there are several red arrows directed away from IDELE towards other network actors. The red arrows, as it is explained in the graph note in the main text, show new knowledge generated in the form of reports, guidelines and new data, which is directed from IDELE towards actors such as: Educators (colleges and the Carmejane school), Livestock Producer Groups, Governmental Actors and to Flying Eye (a leading manufacturer of drones in France). The network shows directional arrows for information flows on policy recommendations and drone technical aspects. Some of these arrows depart from EU Agencies and intergovernmental organisations on drone regulations and are directed towards the National Government and to Flying Eye. Some information on policy recommendations and drone technical aspects departs from the ICAERUS project consortium and it is directed back to the EU Agencies as new policy recommendations to inform new regulations in this sector. There are several other interactors among the actors in this graph, which includes local authorities, the pilot farms cooperating with IDELE, members of the local communities and external commercial clients. The interactions described are the core ones in this network.
