Welcome to Week 5. Last week, you were introduced to some of the main issues around the funding of voluntary organisations. Within those discussions, the role of stakeholders was introduced, in the context of informing them about where funding comes from and how it’s spent.

This week, you’ll find out more about different stake-hold groups and why they’re important. You also look at the role of power, who has it, and who doesn’t, and which groups seem to have the most influence in decision making. You’ll map the stakeholders of an organisation you’re familiar with, and also look at some methods for communicating with them.
