The Life Story of Your T-shirt

T-shirts are clothes that we tend to wear for a day and then put them in the wash, but what impact does all this washing and drying have on the sustainability of the clothes we wear? T-shirts can be cheap, which means that they may be seen of as disposable, possibly ending up in landfill. These blogs will give you insights into how the things we do as consumers can affect the environmental impacts of our clothes. You can also take part in our t-shirt story sharing event and try your hand at spotting sustainable t-shirts.

The story of a t-shirt is not just about production, care and disposal. Our t-shirts can have their own stories. Ones that we have a sentimental attachment to because they were brought as a present or as a reminder of an event in our lives, or perhaps ones that are just old favourites because we like the colour or style of them. Here we would like you to share your stories of your t-shirts, letting us see them by posting a photograph and telling us its story and why it is special to you.

Sometimes though, you need to wear something other than the old favourites. Try to spot the most sustainable t-shirt.
