4.4 Session summary

In this session you’ve learned the fundamental elements of quantitative and qualitative analytical methods, and been introduced to mixed methods as a bridge to overcome the methodological divide. You have also seen that access to data and to data analysis skills are unevenly distributed. This inequality constitutes a broader divide, called the ‘digital divide’, and presents a global problem that, hopefully, we are contributing to address through this course.

You should now complete a short quiz to check what you’ve learned in this session. Open the quiz in a new tab or window and come back here when you’ve finished.

Now that you know how to collect, wrangle and analyse data, in the next session (in Week 3) you will learn how to spread the word about your findings.
