Introduction

During Week 2, you learned about some of the approaches Humanities scholars can employ to clean, analyse and manage their data. During Week 3, you will become familiar with some of the new ways in which scholars can publish and share their research with each other and with the public. You will then explore resources that can help you further your interest in digital humanities and conclude your course by applying your critical reflection skills to what you have learned about digital humanities.

After studying this week, you will:

  • understand the importance of sharing data, software and results
  • be familiar with the concept of knowledge infrastructure
  • explore a range of resources to learn more about digital humanities
  • begin to reflect critically on tools, data and methods.
