6 Naturalistic interventions

In contrast to how adults identify the ‘desirable’ behaviour within ABA, approaches have been developed which build upon the child’s own interests and preferences. These approaches are known as naturalistic interventions, and they are all, to a greater or lesser degree, child-centred.
