What is a goal?

  • Goals are what you want to get out of life.
  • You may use other words to describe your goals, such as ‘results’, ‘outcomes’, ‘aims’ or ‘ambitions’.
  • Whether short or long term, goals should be realistic but challenging.
  • Remember that your goals may change over time.
