Joanna Bornat is professor of oral history in the Department of health and social Care at The Open University. She is a member of the Oral History Society and the Academy of Social Sciences; editor of Oral History and was a founder member of the Centre for Ageing and Biographical Studies. She has a particular interest in ageing, remembering in later life, and family change.
