About me

I'm Qualification Lead for Classical Studies at the OU, and Module Team Chair of our third level Classical Studies module Myth in the Greek and Roman Worlds (A330). I'm also a member of the following interdisciplinary module teams: The Arts Past and Present (AA100) and Discovering the Arts and Humanities (A111 - in production).

One of my other jobs at the OU is editing our Open Access e-journal Practitioners’ Voices in Classical Reception Studies. If you like myth, art, theatre and poetry then you might enjoy browsing some of our articles and interviews: http://www.open.ac.uk/arts/research/pvcrs/

One of my hobbies is making audio documentaries, and I produce (when I have time!) a podcast called Classics Confidential (www.classicsconfidential.co.uk). The latest episode is about Roman Memory, and I'm currently working on themed programmes on Weaving, Souvenirs and 'Secrets'. Watch this space!

You can find out about my academic research (which is mainly about votive offerings and other aspects of material religion) on my personal website: www.campaniasacra.org
