About me

Martin Upton is a Senior Lecturer in Finance and Director of the True Potential Centre for the Public Understanding of Finance (True Potential PUFin). Previously he spent 20 years in treasury management, including 12 years as treasurer of Nationwide Building Society. Martin's particular interests are financial services, the housing market, financial markets and risk management.
