Paul Dixon is an associate lecturer, teaching on A111 Discovering the Arts and Humanities.
He has previously taught on A103 An Introduction to the Humanities, AA100 The Arts Past and Present, and EA300 Children’s Literature.
Paul worked as a contract cleaner for many years, before turning to third-level education with The Open University. This led to a BA Hons in English Language and Literature and an MA in English. He is presently working towards a degree in modern languages, studying Spanish and German.
Paul’s areas of particular interest are 20th and 21st century poetry in English, children’s picturebooks, and generally how the arts can help us make sense of the world. He has a lifelong fascination with natural history and a great enthusiasm for music. Other pursuits include walking, cycling, growing vegetables and radio broadcasting.
