Biography

Peter is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) and an expert in online learning. Peter is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) and an expert in online learning. His research and teaching takes in digital experiences, organisational change, Brexit, and sustainable mobility. These topics' common focus is an analysis of how spaces and places relate to behaviour change. His work has investigated how travel choices influence people’s experiences of urban life and public space, and how family or work commitments shape the learning of skills. He is currently researching how people get involved with campaigns for sustainability and community, and the different aims they strive to achieve. At the Open University, Peter is responsible for producing many of the educational materials published by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He is has led the Geography Matters Collection and the Brexit Hub.
