Biography

I obtained an OU BA Hons in Maths in 1988. I went on to geta PhD in 1992, at the INPG inFrance, relating to speech perception in humans and machines. I have since worked in automatic speech recognition and other applications of machine learning. I am currently filling time with some free OU courses because of a surplus of free time between jobs. I have a long standing interest in the mind-body problem, and obtaining an intuitive understanding of relativity. I obtained an OUBA Hons in Maths in 1988.
