1.6.2 How do I download a PDF file?

To download a PDF file from a web page, once you have the software (see note below).

  1. Click the right button of your mouse on the filename (Mac users – Control mouse-click).

  2. Choose Save Target As (Internet Explorer) or Save Link As (Netscape) and check that the file is being saved where you want it to be.

Note: You need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 3 or later to download and use a PDF file. If this software isn't already on your computer, you can download it automatically from the Adobe website (Adobe [Tip: hold Ctrl and click a link to open it in a new tab. (Hide tip)] ). This software is free and reliable.
