Exercise 6

Examine each of the activities in the check in guest activity diagram shown in Figure 11 (reproduced below) and identify any exceptions, if any.

We identified the following exceptions.

  • Look up reservation: there may not be a reservation corresponding to the stated reservation number.

  • Allocate room: a room of the required type may not be available.

  • Issue key: the key may be lost!
