So we can use the environment on Earth to understand habitability, to understand why where life could potentially exist.

And understanding those environments are really important for plant protection.

So at the Open University in Astrobolgio U, we use analogue sites.

So for example, we use the salt the salt pans in Botswana as an analogue for for Mars.
