You may have heard the claim that we only ever use 10% of our brains. That means that if I could divide this model brain into a 100 equal parts I’d only ever be using 10 of them at any one time. That’s because each part represents 1%. This means 90% would be going to waste! Fortunately that’s just not true. I’ll show you other examples of percentages this week and how to use them.
