Low levels of antibiotics are represented by lighter colours while high levels of antibiotic use are represented by darker colours. Four countries are labelled on the map. The antibiotic use as standard units per 1000 population is given for each of these countries (China 10 389, India 10 554, UK 21 632, USA 18 389).
