Gunnersbury Park Pop-up Museum logo Copyrighted  image Icon Copyright: Eailng Council Gunnersbury Park Pop Up Museum described itself as "a travelling cabinet of curiosities, bursting with objects chosen by young people from Gunnersbury Park Museum’s collections, and showcasing their fun and inspiring stories through artwork and poetry." It involved a group of young volunteers aged 17-21 who "all found a personal connection with an object, whether it was a deep memory or the wonders of pure imagination".

It was initiated by a cultural organisation and encouraged people to participate through a special event. Gunnersbury Park Pop Up Museum was local in orientation and concerned with participation.

It was on show in March 2013.
