One and other logo Copyrighted image Icon Copyright: One and other One & Other described itself as “a live artwork by sculptor Antony Gormley, which took place over 100 days during the summer of 2009” during which “participants representing every region of the UK each spend an hour alone on the empty plinth in Trafalgar Square”.

It was initiated by an artist and encouraged people to participate through a special event. One & Other was national in orientation and concerned with participation.

It was launched in July 2009 and ended in October 2009. 2,400 people were involved.
