The Spirit of '13 logo Copyrighted  image Icon Copyright: The Spirit of '13 The Spirit of '13 was "a short film project for young people in the United Kingdom aged 25 and under", who were invited to "to share short films (3-5 minutes) in response to the issues raised by Ken Loach’s The Spirit of ’45 [...] A selection of the films produced were selected for public screening and discussion with the team behind The Spirit of ’45 in London".

It was initiated by researchers, scientists & educators, non-governmental organisations/charities, and a media organisation, and encourages people to participate through a special event and filmmaking.

The Spirit of '13 was national in orientation and concerned with economy, education, health, and public services.  It was launched in April 2013 and ended in December 2013.
