It is a not-for profit organisation staffed with former NHS personnel, delivering the same services as it did before [...]. Membership of Your Healthcare is open to any patient, service user, carer, registered volunteer or member of staff".

It was initiated by a non-governmental organisation/charity and encourages people to participate through a mutual co-operative. Your Healthcare is local in orientation and concerned with health and public services.

It was launched in August 2010 and is ongoing.
