This week you will be looking at a multicultural business, Guidance - a UK-based technology product company. Then you will read about the example of Walmart and
consider issues related to doing business in different cultures.
In the second half of the week you'll work with definitions of 'culture' and find out about intercultural skills at the workplace.

This MOOC enables you to understand intercultural competence in the workplace.
You will audit your intercultural skills and personal qualities, and plan how to develop them further.
Over the next three weeks you'll be engaging in a variety of activities related to being a citizen in a globalized world. This will include reading background information, watching video clips, researching information on the internet, doing quizzes and reflecting on what you'll find out.
