The aim of this Fashion design course is to help you understand the design process, whilst developing your research development and realisation of fashion ideas by drawing, designing & creating & embellishing/decorating your own T-Shirt/s. It has been designed to cover some of the key elements of Introduction to Fashion Design. It provides an introduction to the principles of fashion design & concentrates on the development of ideas from research to the design & creation of a finished T-Shirt

Fashion design is a form of art dedicated to the creation of clothing such as T-shirts, tops, trousers, skirts, dresses and other lifestyle accessories such as bags, hats, scarfs and many, many more items that are seen in shops today

Why not make a collage, mood board, collect photos, paint, draw, look through magazines, the internet, write a poem, make a spiders web of ideas. There are lots of ways to collect ideas together. So get brain storming and putting together your exciting sketch book and design collection.
Remember you are the fashion designer, so go and create. Let your imagination go wild and see it come to life on your finished chosen T-shirt creation
Recycle and recreate your own unique design creation on your chosen T-Shirt and decorate it to your own fashion style.
Do you have any old clothes, fabrics, trimmings, broken or old jewellery, shells, etcetera, you can cut up, to sew and/or glue onto your T-Shirt. You can even pleat, scrunch, cut out shapes, rip parts of your T-Shirt and even add in place other pieces of fabrics to change your T-Shirt to create a new shape, different looking sleeves. The list is endless.
If you like you can do your own drawings, paintings, collages and choose one complete image to iron onto your T-Shirt.
