H5P is an abbreviation for HTML5 Package - interactive content such as presentations, videos and other multimedia, questions, quizzes, games and more. The H5P activity enables H5P to be uploaded and added to a course. Please note: the H5P activity is not the same plugin as Interactive content – H5P which allows you to build H5P content in the course (that plugin is not yet available on OpenLearn Create), what the H5P activity allows you to do is upload an existing H5P file you have created on the H5P website.
Any question attempts in the H5P are marked automatically, and the grade is recorded in the gradebook.
Currently, if you add an H5P file to your draft course, you will not be able to fully configure the settings for it as your permissions will need to be adjusted. Please contact the mailbox openlearncreate@open.ac.uk with the URL of your draft course where you have uploaded the H5P file to ask for the H5P permissions to be updated so you can configure it in the course.
At this point, if you cannot view the H5P file in your course, please contact the mailbox to ask for your permissions to be adjusted so you can complete the configuration.
