Pangasius vaccination This video shows juvenile pangasius which have already been anaesthetised spread on a stainless steel vaccination table. There are multiple farm staff carrying out vaccinations and other staff help sort the fish into small groups oriented in the same way to help increase the efficiency of the operation. The vaccinating staff have thick rubber gloves and hold the syringe gun in their right hand and use their left hand to briefly hold each fish to deliver the dose just into the peritoneal cavity via the lower abdomen. The vaccinated fish are then moved to a channel with flowing water adjacent to the table for return to production ponds.
