This course is aimed at people in community settings who are considering how they might support mental health by promoting community resilience. It is intended for community volunteers, as well as paid staff, working to support health and social care. We have tried to make this course as accessible and engaging as possible. No formal qualifications or training is needed for understanding and putting into practice the activities described in the course. We would caution that this course is not aimed at addressing serious or potentially life threatening mental health situations that require suitably trained and professional personnel. In these situations trained professional support must be sought.
