    • Welcome

Digital technologies now play a critical role in the production and consumption of energy. You might:

      • Already use apps on your smart phone to remotely control appliances at home.
      • Want to save energy and potentially reduce your bills, without reducing your comfort.
      • Be curious about renewable energy and how digital technologies support their use.
      • Be interested in working with others to save energy and finding out more about energy communities.
      • Support others on energy digitalisation topics, and looking for resources to support your work.

This is a collection of 10 slide decks which focus on different aspects of the digital energy transition.

Each slide deck is aimed at different audience, including the general public, energy communities, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and local authorities. The slides explore a range of different topics including:

      • Easy steps you can take to understand your energy consumption and make positive changes.
      • Digital energy myths and misunderstandings.

      • Support for energy communities: from getting started to digital tools you might want to consider.
      • How climate change impacts on renewable energy.
