Course

This course is for Global Football Community Learners and is part of the FIFA Guardians™ Safeguarding in Sport Award.

This course introduces a new topic – safeguarding in the digital world – and looks forward to helping you think about how your organisation might learn from safeguarding experiences and develop a positive safeguarding culture.

The aim is to assist your organisation to keep moving forward on your safeguarding journey. The course will also reinforce your existing knowledge and help you to identify organisational strengths and weaknesses.

This course, consisting of approximately 7 hours of online learning and a quiz, can be completed at your own pace. 

This course is free and open to all, you are welcome to study it without enrolling. If you want to earn a FIFA/Open University digital badge for your learning, you’ll need to enrol. Once you have done so, you’ll be returned to this screen.

Before you start the course there are three statements you must click on and respond to: one is to confirm that your age is appropriate for you to study the course; the second is a declaration about your eligibility to work with children and the final is to state your involvement, or not, with football.
