Perceptron

A perceptron is a simple type of neural network used for binary classification tasks. It consists of a single layer of neurons and can learn to separate data into two classes.

Phase transition

Phase transition in AI refers to a sudden change in the behaviour or performance of a system as it reaches a critical point. It is similar to physical phase transitions, like water turning to ice.

Prejudice

Where the training data contains materials which includes preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience (also see Bias).

Pre-trained models

The GenAI has been initially trained using a large quantity of general data, it’s ready to be used for general tasks.

Privacy

The right to keep one's personal matters and relationships secret.

Prompt engineering

The practice of designing and refining inputs to AI systems to achieve more accurate, relevant, or useful outputs.

Prompting

The process of giving instructions or input to an AI system—especially language models—to guide its responses or behaviour.
