6 Recording your progress towards your learning goals

As you study the courses in this programme you will have opportunities to reflect on what you have learned and how it relates to your role. This section of AMR surveillance and you gives you an opportunity to draw together these activities so that you can reflect on your progress towards your learning goals across these courses. As you complete each course you may like to return to this page and take a few minutes to reflect on what you have covered.

You will not develop all skills and areas of knowledge in every course and it is important to remember that you will not be able to apply everything that you learn on this programme directly to your day-to-day work. However, studying the courses in this programme will help you see the bigger picture of AMR surveillance. This may indirectly affect your day-to-day role, for example, by improving your scientific literacy – making you more familiar and confident with terms related to AMR that are used by colleagues in your workplace, or by helping you to appreciate how your work fits into global efforts to tackle AMR.

Activity 10 will help you to reflect on your progress after each course.

Activity 10: Reflecting on your progress

Timing: Allow about 15 minutes after each course

Once you have completed each course, return here and complete the following tasks to reflect on what you have learned and how you can apply it in your work.

By signing in and enrolling on this course you can view and complete all activities within the course, track your progress in My OpenLearn Create. and when you have completed a course, you can download and print a free Statement of Participation - which you can use to demonstrate your learning.

When you have completed your study of all the courses in your chosen pathway, make sure to have completed the appropriate reflective sections here before moving on to Section 7.
