      The Open University FIFA Guardians™ team


      This course focuses on building safeguarding working practices including risk assessments, codes of conduct, safer recruitment and policy, safeguarding reporting and your organisation’s response to concerns.

      The course is divided into eleven 120-minute sessions for you to study. There are also quizzes that, along with the Sessions, make up 26 hours of online learning for you to complete at your own pace.

      This course is free and open to all, you are welcome to study it without enrolling. If you want to earn a FIFA/Open University digital badge for your learning, you’ll need to enrol. Once you have done so, you’ll be returned to this screen.

      Before you start the course there are three statements you must click on and respond to: one is to confirm that your age is appropriate for you to study the course; the second is a declaration about your eligibility to work with children and the final is to state your involvement, or not, with football.

      If you are a FIFA-approved learner, you need to enrol on the FIFA Learner pathway and not here.
