2.1 Identifying key stakeholders

An effective way to identify the current key actors in the field of AMR is through stakeholder mapping.

The international independent network for action on antibiotic resistance, ReAct, conducted a global mapping of stakeholders working with AMR (2016). The results of this stakeholder mapping project are summarised in this section. AMR stakeholders were categorised in three ways: scale, sector and strategic focus (Figure 3).
