Getting started with OpenLearn Create
Welcome to Click Start with The Open University.
This programme is part of the nationwide Click Start training initiative, developed by the Institute of Coding (IoC) and funded by Nominet.
Click Start with The Open University is hosted on the OpenLearn Create learning platform – if you already have an account please sign in. If you need to register an account you can find instructions below. There are also detailed instructions available should you need them.
Application form
Completing the Click Start with The Open University programme application form will ensure you have ongoing access to all courses, our lively community, any updates, career support and much more.
After completing the application form, registering your OpenLearn Create account and signing in, you’ll be able to enrol on all the courses available in each pathway.
It’s recommended that you bookmark the Getting Started with Click Start page in your web browser so you can return to it easily.
How to register for an account on OpenLearn Create
- On the top right-hand side of the screen, click on the ‘Sign up / Sign in’ button.
- Click ‘Create account’.
- Fill in the form. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
Once you have created your account, you will need to sign in again to enrol on a course.
Getting started with your courses
To obtain full access to the courses, track your progress and receive your completion certificates and digital badges, you’ll need to enrol on each course and login each time you study. You will only have to enrol once on each course to gain full access.
