    • Transport decarbonization and data-to-deal

Sustainable transport transitions are central to meeting decarbonisation targets and achieving wider sustainable development goals (SDGs). This course introduces the role of transport systems within the D2D framework, which links data collection, system modelling, and financing strategies to support investment decisions. The course provides a conceptual understanding of transport demand, mobility and equitable access. It also delivers practical training on representing transport systems in OSeMOSYS, including data preparation, model building, and scenario design. The course highlights how robust decision-making and multilateral development bank financing can support sustainable transport policies in LMICs.

This is the November 2025 presentation of the course.
