Skills for Prosperity Kenya

Welcome

These training programmes are central to the development of those responsible for digital education, both online and blended, in Kenyan public universities. Each has been designed to support a range of professionals working in higher education, particularly academics, production and support teams, and managers. The training provided will be used to strengthen strategies, skills and capabilities that are key for the development of quality digital education.

Digital Education for Universities Programme A or Programme B training is delivered by The Open University, UK.

The forthcoming Safeguarding and inclusion training is delivered by Leonard Cheshire.

These courses are part of the Skills for Prosperity Kenya (SFPK) programme, delivered in collaboration with the Kenya Ministry of Education State Department for University Education and Research. The programme is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) with the overall aim of supporting and strengthening capacity and inclusion in digital (online and blended) education.
