Required Evidence:

  • Please upload your CV that details experience with tool
  • Please write approximately 200 words detailing how your CV meets the badge requirements. 

Your submission should illustrate-

  • 5 years of work/project experience with OSeMOSYS

                                OR 

  • PhD + 2 years project experience, plus a relevant publication 

And demonstrate at least two of the following skills: 

  • Create innovative improvements and critical assessments of relevant modelling techniques and methodologies 
  • Manage and develop highly complex energy/resource models that are able to solve critical real-world problems 
  • Apply advanced coding and debugging skills to resolve intricate modelling challenges
  • Translate complex modelling results into actionable policy recommendations for senior decision-makers
Note: this short 200 word response will be made publicly available on the proficiency badge concept note, on Zenodo, to ensure transparency regarding the inaugural badge holder process.
