Planning and organising

Planning and organising = the ability to manage resources and time to meet a deadline or aim. This is one of the most basic skills you will need in the workplace regardless of your job, the company/organisation, or the sector. As a graduate it is unlikely your manager will manage your workload for you, so you are responsible for planning your workday and prioritising tasks, activities, and meetings. Your examples should include mention of the tools you use to support you to stay organised, e.g. lists, planners, calendar, and how you set and meet goals and objectives using your planning and organising abilities. Alternatively, you can focus on wider planning of events and activities if more relevant to the opportunity.
