The vase of flowers requires very soft, washed colours. You start doing the red flowers, adding spots of ink on the paper.

In this stage, you continue doing your imaginary vase of flowers, adding more spots of light colours.

You paint the background with a wash of colours, and you let the whites come out of the paper. You may add some more layers of ink with a little bit more intensity. You can paint in layers.
