The Extended Project Qualification - resources for students

The Extended Project Qualification allows A level students to undertake a piece of independent research on a topic that interests them, and develop skills in independent study, research literacy, and communication.

These four linked guides offer some help and tips from members of [XXX}, a research group in the Open University, UK. All of them are researchers, so the advice they offer comes from their own experience.

The four guides are:

1.       The Extended Project Qualification - finding your research question

2.       The Extended Project Qualification - finding your evidence

3.       The Extended Project Qualification – writing up your dissertation

4.       The Extended Project Qualification – presenting your research

The guides focus on the process of undertaking a dissertation/research review EPQ.

The guides were written by Ann Grand, [XXX} at the Open University. They are based on resources created by colleagues including Richard Holliman, Trevor Collins, Gareth Davies, Victoria Pearson, Joe Kendall, Penny Green, David Sharp and Sarah Davies
