Foundations for Peace

Foundations for Peace

Foundations for Peace (FFP) is an international network of independent local philanthropic organisations working towards conflict transformation and social justice in contested societies. We believe that local, sustainable solutions are important to resolve conflict, but we also recognise the importance of working for the creation of a holistic development aid system which supports the autonomy of local activists and organisations. With local knowledge and direct access to affected communities, FFP members are the ‘bridge’ to create relationships and work towards achieving equity, diversity and inclusion. It offers shared learning to enhance local leadership, skills and potential to deliver sustainable peacebuilding work.
