Before getting started, read the guiding questions below and let them guide you through the course.  

1. What are your own biases about surgery and/or conservative management?
2. If you receive a referral for a patient who underwent a spinal fusion in absence of previous conservative treatment of physical therapy, and in the absence of significant neuro signs, what are your first thoughts?
3. If a patient is not progressing well and you need to reach out to the surgeon about medical interventions to improve the patients outcome (medication, manipulation, injection, etc.), what would your approach be?
