Introduction
Our modern world is driven by and strongly dependent on computers and other information and communication technologies. In our daily lives, we heavily rely on computers not only for our work, but also to socialise and communicate with each other as well as to support our learning and studying. The aims of this unit are to introduce computers and to provide a foundation for how to understand and use them in different contexts. This is done through a combination of both, theoretical as well as practical elements.
