      If you are considering becoming a garden designer or would like to improve your skills and learn how to design your own garden then this is the course for you.

      Learn a variety of techniques that designers use to understand and create beautiful landscapes, learn basic garden surveying techniques, develop your understanding of hard landscaping materials and how to combine plants to create styles you really love and learn how to draw to scale.

      This introductory course will enable you to learn a wide variety of skills, and by following the activities you will complete the course having created a beautiful garden design.

      This course was developed by the Horticulture department at UHI Argyll in conjunction with UHI and with support from the European Social Fund and The Scottish Funding Council.

      fantastic free taster course provides an informative insight into garden design techniques for those who may be interested in studying horticulture, or a nice little refresher for those who have already studied this subject.
