Energy Access Explorer : Silver Proficiency Badge
Applicants will earn the EAE- Silver Proficiency Badge if their submission meets the following criteria:
1. Understand and apply the basic principles of integrated and inclusive energy planning
2. Pre-process and integrate several geospatial datasets in the backend of EAE
3. Implement advanced dataset configurations and troubleshooting in the backend of EAE
4. Conduct a complex multi-criteria analysis for several scenarios and interpret their policy implications
5. Prepare a detailed data governance and sustainability plan for an EAE geography
Applicant needs to provide evidence of the following activities:
· Demonstrate 2 years of work/project experience with EAE, OR 1 year of work/project experience, plus a relevant publication.
Evidence required:
Submit one of the following:
· A completed Master's thesis using EAE
· A published peer-reviewed paper (as 1st or 2nd author) using EAE
· A published report (or project output) using EAE
AND a letter of reference from EITHER an academic OR project supervisor (Must highlight 2 years’ experience)
