This certification recognises the ability to effectively support and deliver EAE capacity building trainings. It validates capabilities in teaching specific aspects of EAE, adapting teaching methods to diverse learners, and providing constructive feedback on hands-on exercises. The qualification ensures instructors can effectively communicate complex modelling concepts to novice learners.

Applicants will earn the EAE – Associate Trainer Badge if their submission meets the following criteria:

1. Hold at least a Bronze proficiency badge in EAE
2. Complete 40 hours of assisting or co-teaching with a Lead Instructor
3. Receive a positive evaluation from a Lead Instructor
4. Successfully lead at least one full training session independently

Applicant needs to provide evidence of the following activities:

• Documentation of training hours (date and time)
• Evaluation letter completed by lead instructor
• Present a sample training session ‘lesson plan’ or 'hands-on tutorial' for assessment
